Questions we hear first
Why is access by invitation?
IdeaLine is built for teams that value a calm, secure workspace. We invite teams in small groups so each one gets a proper setup, and so nobody can sign up uninvited.
What counts as a person?
Anyone who signs in and works in your workspace. Clients, departments and partners you tag on a project are contacts and do not count, because they do not need accounts.
Can I change plans?
Yes. Tell us and we will move your workspace to the plan that fits your team today.
Is the annual price really cheaper?
Yes. Starter is $200 a year instead of $228 (twelve monthly payments), Team is $500 instead of $588, and Studio is $1,000 instead of $1,188.
Do you store our files?
No. IdeaLine stores links and titles to the files in your cloud storage, so your documents stay where they are and keep their permissions.
What happens to our data if we leave?
You can download everything at any time (a ZIP of CSV files, an Excel workbook or a JSON backup) and delete your account yourself. See our data policy for retention and deletion.
How long is activity history kept?
Starter keeps 6 months, Team keeps 12 months and Studio keeps it forever. Your projects, ideas and files are never removed by these limits.
