Why you get signed out when you are away

IdeaLine signs you out after a period of inactivity, with a warning first.

1 min read

To protect your work on a shared or unattended computer, IdeaLine signs you out after a period with no activity. You always get a warning first, so a short break will not cost you anything.

  1. A warning appears

It says that you will be signed out soon and shows a countdown.

  2. Choose Stay signed in

The timer starts over and you keep working.

  3. Or do nothing

IdeaLine signs you out. Anything you had saved is safe. Sign in again to continue.

Tip

Save what you are working on before you step away from your desk.
