Plan a launch from a template
Start from a template, assign the work, add sign-offs and share a read-only link with a reviewer.
This playbook takes a launch from an empty calendar to a reviewed plan. Repeat the template steps for each piece of the launch, such as the webinar and the press release. Approvals and custom fields are part of the Studio plan, so some steps depend on your plan. See Plan features and limits at a glance.
- Choose New from template and pick Product launch campaign
Set the Start date. IdeaLine creates the project with its subtasks and sets the due date from that date. See Create a project from a template.
- Review the new project and set an Assignee
The assignee is notified. See Every field in a project, explained.
- Add the client and collaborators
Tag the client who asked, then add legal or an agency as collaborators. See Labels, clients and collaborators.
- Add Approval workflow steps to the announcement
For example Legal review then Final sign-off. The next approver is told automatically. See Request and give approvals.
- Link the launch assets from the Repository
Attach the brand guidelines and photography with Linked files. See Attach files to a project.
- Create a read-only link for the outside reviewer
Choose Copy link to project under Sharing. The link can expire and can be revoked. See Share a read-only link to a project.
- Download the calendar for the kickoff meeting
Use Download on the Calendar to save a PDF. See Download the calendar as a PDF, PNG, JPG, SVG or EPS.
A read-only link shows the last saved version of one project. It never shows comments, files or assignees.
