Which browsers work best, and what to know about phones and tablets.

IdeaLine runs in your web browser. There is nothing to install.
- Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Updates fix security problems, so keep your browser up to date.
- JavaScript must be on. IdeaLine shows a message if it is off.
- IdeaLine works on phones and tablets. Some extras, such as live teammate cursors, appear only on larger screens.
- Cookies and browser storage are needed to keep you signed in and to remember settings. IdeaLine uses only essential ones. See the cookie policy.
If something looks wrong#
Try a hard refresh first (Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows, Cmd + Shift + R on a Mac). If that does not help, see IdeaLine looks wrong or is slow.
Tip
