Move an idea through its five stages
Spark, Exploring, Shortlisted, Active, Project.

Every idea has a line of five stages. The current stage has a ring around it and completed stages are filled in.
| Stage | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Spark | Just a thought. |
| Exploring | You are researching it or adding steps. |
| Shortlisted | It is a real candidate and others should look. |
| Active | The team is working on it. |
| Project | It has become a project. See Promote an idea to a project. |
- Find the idea on the IdeaLine tab
- Select the stage you want on the line
The idea moves there. The message under the title confirms the stage.
- Choose Project only when you are ready
Selecting the Project stage asks you to confirm: “Promote this idea to a real project? It will appear on the Board and Calendar.” See Promote an idea to a project.
