Attach files to a project

IdeaLine stores links, not copies. A linked file stays in your cloud storage and keeps your storage permissions.

1. Add the file to the Repository first

   See Add a file link to the Repository.

2. Open the project and scroll to Linked files
3. Choose a file from Attach a file from the repository…

   It appears in the list under the project.

4. Select its name to open it

   The file opens in a new tab in your storage service.

5. Choose Remove to detach it

   This removes the link from the project only, not the file.
