When a change takes effect#
Our Payment terms say a move to a higher plan starts immediately and Stripe credits the unused part of what you already paid. A move to a lower plan, or from annual to monthly, takes effect at your next renewal.
Before you downgrade#
- People. If you have more people than the new plan allows, remove some first. See Edit, remove or reset someone, or hand over ownership.
- Active ideas. Park or promote ideas to fit the new limit. See Park an idea and come back to it.
- Locked features. Features from the higher plan, such as approvals, custom fields and time tracking, lock again.
- History window. Starter and Team show 12 or 24 months of history. Download a copy first. See Download everything: your data backup.
Good to know
Your data is never deleted because you changed plans.
