Clients & collaborators.

Zoom in on each part

  1. Name box
  2. Relationship list
  3. Add contact button
  4. Your contacts list

Contacts are the clients, departments, partners and stakeholders your projects are done for or with. They do not need accounts, do not use seats and are never emailed. Tagging them records who the work involves, and you can send them a read-only link to a project.

  1. Open Settings, then Clients & collaborators
  2. Type a Name and, if you like, an Organization
  3. Choose a Relationship

Client, Department, Partner, Agency / vendor or Stakeholder.

  4. Add an Email (optional, for your reference)

IdeaLine stores it for you but never sends to it.

  5. Pick a Color

Used when projects are colored by client.

  6. Attach Brand kits for this contact if you have them

The brand then follows the work.

  7. Choose Add contact

Choose Edit or Delete beside a contact later. Each row shows how many projects use it.

Good to know

Keep contact details to what you need. Do not put sensitive client information in the notes. See Share work safely.
