I do not recognize a charge
Find out whether a charge on your statement is from IdeaLine.
A charge that shows only “STRIPE” on your statement usually means you paid a business that uses Stripe, and the business name did not appear. It does not always mean IdeaLine.
- Search your email for a receipt
Search for “IdeaLine” and “receipt”. See Find and download a receipt.
- Ask your team
Another owner or admin may have started the plan. Billing goes to the email on the payment.
- Use Stripe’s charge lookup
Stripe offers a tool that shows which business made a charge. Find it in Stripe’s help: Charge you do not recognize from Stripe? (opens in new tab)
- Write to us if it is ours
Email hello@idealine.io with the date and amount. See Ask for a refund if you want your money back.
- Call your bank if it is not ours
If you think a charge is fraud, tell your bank and ask it to dispute the charge. The bank passes the details to Stripe.
A small charge of $0 or $1 can be a temporary hold that checks that a card is valid. It is normally removed from your statement.
