Cancel your plan

Cancel in your billing page. Cancelling never deletes your workspace or data.

Not live yet

Online checkout with Stripe has not been switched on yet. This guide shows how it will work so you can read it ahead of time. Until then, you can pay by invoice. See Get an invoice or purchase order.

You can cancel any time. Our Payment terms say you can cancel in your billing page or by writing to us.

  1. Download your data first (optional)

See Download everything: your data backup. You can do this after cancelling too.

  2. Open your billing page
  3. Choose Cancel plan
  4. Read the confirmation

It shows the date your plan ends. Stripe’s billing page can end a plan right away or at the end of the period you paid for, depending on how a business sets it up.

These are IdeaLine-styled illustrations with sample data. Stripe hosts and designs the real pages, so your screen may look a little different and some labels may vary.

    Zoom in on each part

    1. What happens. Your workspace and data are not deleted.
    2. End date. The last day your plan is active.
    3. Cancel plan. Confirms. Use Keep plan to change your mind.
  5. Look for the confirmation email

    Stripe emails you to confirm.

What happens next#

  • You are not charged again.
  • Your workspace and data are not deleted. Features of the higher plan lock, and limits drop to the lowest plan. See Upgrade, downgrade or change your plan.
  • You can come back later and pay again.
Be careful

Deleting your IdeaLine account does not cancel a paid plan. Cancel billing separately. See Delete your account.

Paid by invoice? Email hello@idealine.io to change or end your plan.
