Capture an idea

Write down a spark in seconds.

1 min read
  1. Open the IdeaLine tab
  2. Click What’s the spark? Capture a thought…

The box is at the top of the page.

  3. Type the idea

A few words are enough, such as “Annual industry benchmark report”.

  4. Choose Capture idea

The idea is saved at the Spark stage and its window opens so you can add notes straight away. Close it if you want to add details later. Until you add notes, the card says “No notes yet. Open this idea to flesh it out.”

Good to know

Each plan limits how many ideas can be active at once. When you reach the limit IdeaLine says “Active idea limit reached. Park or promote one first.” Park or promote an idea to make room. See Plan features and limits at a glance.
