Open and edit#

  1. Select the project

Select it on the Calendar, the Board, in search results or from an Activity item.

  2. Change what you need

Edit fields, add subtasks, attach files or write a comment.

  3. Choose Save

A “Saved” message appears. If you close the window without saving, your edits are not kept.

Good to know

Whether you can edit depends on your role. Contributors and Members can edit only projects they created or are assigned. Visitors can only look. See Roles and permissions reference.

Duplicate#

  1. Open the project and choose Duplicate

A copy is created with the same details.

  2. Rename and re-date the copy

Change the title and dates, then Save.

If you will repeat the same kind of project often, save it as a template instead.

Delete#

  1. Open the project and choose Delete
  2. Read the confirmation

It says the project will be removed along with its subtasks, comments and approvals, and that this can’t be undone.

  3. Choose to confirm

The project is removed and a “Deleted” message appears.

Be careful

Deleting is permanent. If you only want it out of sight, move it to a status that counts as done instead. Owners can download a backup before big clean-ups. See Download everything: your data backup.
