Make a project repeat

Repeat a project daily, weekly, monthly or on days you choose.

1 min read

A repeating project shows on the calendar every time it comes around, using the due date as the starting point.

  1. Open the project and set a Due date

A repeat needs a due date to start from. If you forget, IdeaLine reminds you.

  2. Open the Repeats list and choose how often

The choices are Does not repeat, Daily, Every weekday (Mon–Fri), Weekly, Every 2 weeks, Monthly, Yearly and Custom: pick specific days.

  3. Choose an end date if you want one

The repeat-end date must not be before the due date.

  4. For Custom, mark days on the mini calendar

Mark at least one day other than the due date.

  5. Choose Save
Tip

Need a similar project each month with its own checklist? A template may suit you better.
