Pick a file from Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive or Box

Use a chooser window instead of copying a link by hand.

1 min read
  1. Open Repository and find or pick from
  2. Choose Google Drive or Dropbox

A window opens so you can browse and choose a file. IdeaLine loads that service only when you use its button.

  3. Choose the file

IdeaLine fills in the title and link for you.

  4. Add a category and tags, then choose Save
Good to know

If you choose OneDrive or Box, or a chooser is not set up for your workspace, IdeaLine tells you and asks you to paste a share link with Add link instead.

If nothing appears when you choose a picker, your browser may have blocked the pop-up. See A picker or window does not open.

Tip

IdeaLine recognizes the storage service from the link and shows a colored badge (G for Google Drive, D for Dropbox) on each file card.
