Disconnect your connected apps

Remove every third-party connection tied to you, or to the whole workspace, in one step.

1 min read

IdeaLine can connect to other services: your Canva account, private calendar links, Buffer, and Slack, Discord or webhook destinations. You can remove all of them in one step whenever you like, for example before you delete your account. Your projects, ideas and the links to files and designs stay exactly as they are.

Disconnect your own apps#

  1. Open Settings and choose Profile
  2. Under Connected apps, choose Disconnect my connected apps

IdeaLine lists what is connected for you.

  3. Choose Disconnect my apps

A summary shows what was disconnected.

  • Canva: your access is revoked at Canva and IdeaLine deletes the keys it held.
  • Calendar links you made: revoked, so subscribed calendars stop updating.
  • Usage analytics: your history is deleted in PostHog.
  • Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox: any sign-in held in this browser tab is cleared. IdeaLine never stores these.

Disconnect the whole workspace (owners and admins)#

  1. Open Settings and choose Calendar & integrations
  2. Under Disconnect everything, choose Disconnect all workspace apps
  3. Confirm

Buffer’s keys and every Slack, Discord and webhook destination are deleted, Discord webhooks are deleted at Discord too, and every calendar link in the workspace is revoked.

Good to know

To remove the IdeaLine app from Slack itself, open Slack and go to Settings & administration, Manage apps. You can also remove IdeaLine from the connected apps in your Buffer account.

Tip

You do not have to do this before deleting your account: deleting an account or workspace disconnects everything automatically, first.

How each connection is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.
