Live media in the Repository, explained
Connect Figma, Canva, Adobe Express, Loom, Vimeo and staging sites. Each preview always shows the latest version.
A live source is a link to work that lives somewhere else, such as a Figma file, a Canva design, a Loom or Vimeo video, or a Webflow or WordPress staging site. IdeaLine shows it as a live preview, so everyone sees the current version without downloading or uploading anything. Nothing is copied into IdeaLine: each preview loads from the place the work already lives.

Where live previews show up#
- On the Repository card, with a pin count.
- In a project under Linked files and live media, with open pins shown on each subtask. See Live previews in projects and ideas.
- In an idea under Linked files and live media. See Live previews in projects and ideas.
- On a client review link, when you mark the file Client can see. Clients can pin feedback too. See Let clients review live previews and pin feedback.
Live previews work on every plan. Showing them to clients on a review link needs the Team plan or above.
A preview loads only when someone opens it, so a long Repository stays fast. If the owner of the work changes its sharing settings, the preview follows those settings.
