Live previews in projects and ideas

Attach live sources to the work they belong to and see open pins on each subtask.

1 min read
A project with three live sources.

Zoom in on each part

  1. Pin badge on a subtask. The number of open pins linked to that subtask. Select it to open the first one.
  2. Linked files and live media. Everything attached to this project.
  3. Thumbnail. Select it to open the live preview.
  4. Preview & pins. Opens the viewer with this project already chosen as the linked task. The badge beside it counts the file’s open pins.
  5. Attach a file from the repository…. Adds another file or live source.
  1. Add the live source to the Repository first
  2. Open the project and find Linked files and live media
  3. Choose it from Attach a file from the repository…
  4. Choose Save on the project
  5. Choose Preview & pins to review it

New pins are linked to this project. Choose a subtask in Linked task to be more specific.

In ideas#

Open an idea and use Linked files and live media the same way, with the list Attach a file or live source from the repository…. An idea holds up to 25 linked files. When you promote the idea to a project, link the files to the project too.

Tip

A subtask with a pin badge has feedback waiting. Mark the pins addressed as you fix them, and the badge disappears when none are open.
